Flowers. My mum-in-law always has flowers around, typically roses. When we used to visit more regularly at weekends, I would busy myself by doing practice shots such as this while the rest of them sat about and discussed whatever was new with them. I must have looked a bit odd, really, shooting away at whatever she had managed to prize away from the florist that week. Again, this is me attempting to Round out my portfolio. ( at the moment its childrens pics, animals, flowers, still life, food, some architecture, and a lot of portraiture)
